We take your privacy seriously

OnTap is not interested in collecting, storing, or selling your personal information. We try to collect just enough data to enable the service and understand how people use it.

Slack Team Information

We collect the team’s Slack ID, Name, and Domain when you install and use OnTap.

General Slack Messages

We do not monitor, process, collect, or keep any Slack messages except those explicitly related to the usage of the service.

Information Collected

When you make an explicit request to the OnTap Slack Bot, we collect and log activity related to those requests. This includes:

  • requests for lists of locations
  • requests for lists of what’s on tap at a location
  • requests for lists of what’s on tap at a location
  • requests to add a locations
  • the Slack User ID, User Name, Team ID, Enterprise ID, and Channel ID of the requestor

Additionally, we rely on third-party analytics providers Segment (https://www.segment.com) and Amplitude (https://www.amplitude.com) to collect data related to usage of the service, including: IP address, browser type, and operating system.

Transfer or Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, transfer or lease out your personal data to third parties.

Modifications

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify this Privacy policy or any portion thereof. Any changes will be effective from the time of publication of the new Privacy policy. Your use of the Website after the changes have been implemented implicitly expresses your acknowledgement and acceptance of the new Privacy policy. Otherwise, and if the new Privacy policy does not suit you, you must no longer use the Services.
